-       You don't have to dress up for Mike's party.

မိုက္ရဲ႕ ပါတီပြဲအတြက္ မင္း အဝတ္အစားေကာင္းေကာင္း ဝတ္ဖို႔မလိုပါဘူး။

 

at last : ေနာက္ဆံုးမွာ၊ အၾကာႀကီးက်မွ

-       We waited for hours and then the train arrived at last.

ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ နာရီေပါင္းမ်ားစြာ ေစာင့္ခဲ့ၿပီး အၾကာႀကီးက် မွ ရထားေရာက္တယ္.

-       Now that I am sixteen, at last I can drive my parents' car.

ကၽြန္ေတာ္ သက္ ၁၆ ႏွစ္ရွိၿပီဗ်၊ ေနာက္ဆံုးမွာေတာ့ ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ေမေမနဲ႔ ေဖေဖတို႔ကားကို ေမာင္းႏိုင္ခဲ့ၿပီ။

 

as usual : ထံုးစံအတိုင္း

-       George is late for class as usual. This seems to happen every day.

ေဂ်ာ့(ရွ္) က ထံုးစံအတိုင္း အတန္း ေနာက္က်တယ္။ ဒါက ေန႔တိုင္း ျဖစ္ေနပံုပါပဲ။

-       As usual, Dora received first prize in the swimming contest.

ထံုးစံအတိုင္းေပါ့ ေဒၚရာ ပဲ ေရကူးၿပိဳင္ပဲြမွာ ပထမ ရသြားတယ္။

 

to find out : ေလ့လာေတြ႕ရွိိသည္။ စံုစမ္းရရွိသည္။

-       Will you please try to find out what time the airplane arrives?

ေက်းဇူးျပဳၿပီး ေလယာဥ္ ဘယ္အခ်ိန္ေရာက္မလဲ စံုစမ္းေပးလို႔ ရမလား?

-       We found out later that he’d been lying to us.

ေနာက္ပိုင္းမွာေတာ့ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ကို သူလိမ္ေနခဲ့တယ္ဆိုတာ ေတြ႔ခဲ့ရတယ္။

-       Little by little the snow disappeared.

ႏွင္းက တျဖည္းျဖည္းနဲ႔ ကြဲသြားတယ္။

-       His English is improving little by little.

သူ႔အဂၤလိပ္စာက တျဖည္းျဖည္းနဲ႔ တိုးတက္လာတယ္။

 

tired out : ေျခကုန္လက္ပန္းက်သည္။ အလြန္ ေမာပန္းႏြမ္းနယ္သည္။

-       The hot weather tired out the runners in the marathon.

ပူျပင္းတဲ့ရာသီဥတုက မာရသြန္ေျပးတဲ့သူေတြကို ေျခကုန္လက္ပန္းက်ေစတယ္။

-       I am always tired out by the time I get home from work.

အလုပ္ကေန အိမ္ျပန္လာတဲ့အခ်ိန္ဆို ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ေျခကုန္လက္ပန္းက်ေအာင္ ပင္ပန္းတယ္။

 

to call on/at : အလည္လာသည္။

-       Last night several friends called on us

မေန႔ညက သူငယ္ခ်င္းေတြ အမ်ားႀကီးပဲ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ဆီ လာလည္ၾကတယ္။

-       My friend called at my house last night.

မေန႔ညက ကၽြန္ေတာ့္သူငယ္ခ်င္းက အိမ္ကို လာလည္သြားတယ္။

I am wondering one thing for the sentence  - My friend calls at my house last night.

May I know 'call' is needed to use as present tense SIR.
