A:      How do you make a Margarita?

B:       First, take a cocktail shaker and fill it with crushed ice.

A:      I see, what’s next?

B:       Next, pour in one measure of tequila.

          Then pour in a quarter measure of triple sec.

A:      OK.

B:       Then squeeze some fresh lemon juice into the shaker.

A:      Right.

B:       Then add a dash of lime juice. Shake well to mix and chill the liquids.

A:      OK.

B:       Then put some ice cubes into a salt-rimmed glass.

          Finally, pour the Margirita into the glass and serve.

A:      What about garnish?

B:       Oh, yes, garnish with a slice of lime.

ဒါကေတာ့မာဂါရီတာ cocktail လုပ္ပံုလုပ္နည္းပါပဲ။ မာဂါရီတာဆိုတာ မက္ဆီကိုေဒသရဲ႕နာမည္ေက်ာ္ တကီလာနဲ႔ေရာစပ္ေဖ်ာ္ထားတဲ့ classic cocktail ပါပဲ။ မ်က္ေစ့ထဲမွာ ဖန္ခြက္ပက္ပက္ေလးႏႈတ္ခမ္းမွာ ဆားေလးေတြနဲ႔ သံပုရာသီးစိတ္ကေလးတစ္စိတ္စိုက္ထားတဲ့ ခြက္ကေလးျမင္ၾကည့္လိုက္ပါဦး။

ေလ့လာထားရမည့္ expressions မ်ား

First, take a cocktail shaker. ပထမဦးစြာ ေကာက္ေတးလႈပ္တဲ့ဘူးကိုယူပါ။

Cocktail shaker ဆိုတာ ေကာ္ဖီဘူးလိုရွည္ရွည္ေမ်ာေမ်ာနဲ႔သတၱဳဘူးကေလးျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ သူ႔ထည္ကို အမည္အမ်ိဳးအစား ingredients ေတြထည့္ၿပီးလက္နဲ႔လႈပ္ရမ္းေမႊေပးရတာမ်ိဳးပါ။

Fill it with crushed ice. အတံုးေသးေသးေလးေတြျဖစ္ေအာင္ခြဲထားတဲ့ေရခဲနဲ႔ျဖည့္ပါ။

Next, pour in one measure of tequila. တကီလာအရက္ ၁ ပက္ထည့္ပါ။

Then add a dash of lime juice. အဲဒီေနာက္ သံပုရာရည္နည္းနည္းထည့္ပါ။

ေလ့လာထားရမည့္ေ၀ါဟာရမ်ား

bar spoon = ဘားမွာသံုးသည့္ဇြန္း၊ (အ႐ိုးရွည္သည္။ အရည္မ်ားေမႊရာမွာသံုးသည္။)

caster sugar = အလြန္ႏူးညံ့ကာအပြင့္မႈန္သည့္သၾကား (အေမရိကန္တြင္ superfine sugar ဟုေခၚသည္)

cherry = ခ်ယ္ရီသီး

chill = အေအးခံသည္

cocktail glass = ေကာက္ေတးဖန္ခြက္

fresh = လတ္ဆတ္ေသာ

half = တစ္၀က္

quarter = ေလးပံုတစ္ပံု

liquid = အရည္

mix = ေရာစပ္သည္

olive = သံလြင္သီး

squeeze = ၫွစ္သည္။

stir = ေမႊသည္။ ခေလာက္သည္။

strain= အရည္စစ္သည္။

triple sec = လိေမၼာ္သီးအခ်ိဳ၊ အခါး တို႔၏အခြံေျခာက္မွျပဳလုပ္ထားေသာအရက္ခ်ိဳ

 

ေလ့လာထားရမည့္ ၀ါက်တည္ေဆာက္ပံုမ်ား

ၫႊန္ၾကားခ်က္ေတြကို verb ရဲ႕base form နဲ႔စၿပီးေျပာေလ့ရွိပါတယ္။ ၀ါက်တိုင္းမွာ subject ရွိရမယ္လို႔ေလ့လာထားခဲ့တာမွာဒီလို imperative sentence ေတြမွာ subject ကိုေဖ်ာက္ထားေလ့ရွိပါတယ္။ ဘာေၾကာင့္လဲဆုိေတာ့ခိုင္းတဲ့သူကကိုယ့္ကိုေျပာတာမွန္းသိေနတဲ့ အတြက္ေၾကာင့္ထည့္မေျပာတာပါ။

(You) get me some water.
(You) leave the cat alone.
(You) go to the store for me.
(You) Bring me some ice.

instruction မွာ sequence marker ေတြျဖစ္တဲ့ first, next, then, finally ေတြနဲ႔ဘာၿပီးရင္ဘာဆိုတာ အစီအစဥ္က်ေအာင္တြဲသံုးတဲ့အခါ နားေထာင္ရတာ ေထာက္မေနေတာ့ ဘူးေပါ့။ ေအာက္ပါဥပမာကိုေလ့လာၾကည့္ပါ။
