MDF Asia- IMPACT EVALUATION training, 18-22 October 2016, Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Why should attend the training?

Contemporary development assistance places much greater emphasis on impact accountability. This is tough as often the impact is only realised some time after the project has been completed. Having a logical framework and impact indicators in place is not enough, projects and programmes need to be designed with impact in mind. Project Officers need to know what impact measurement methods are available, how to plan and budget for impact assessment, and how to manage external consultants.

What will you gain?

  • Develop a Theory of Change to frame the right questions for your impact evaluation;
  • Discuss both quantitative and qualitative tools for impact evaluations;
  • Develop an impact evaluation design for your project;
  • Provide tools for managing quality evaluations.

For whom?

You commission, manage or carry out project monitoring and evaluations.
