Relief International Myanmar started the implementation of a substantial EU-funded project “Lan Thit Si Tho- Rakhine Development Project” (RDP) in January 2018. The three-year project includes extensive technical assistance to the Department for Agriculture.
Position : Soil Management Expert Trainer (“Lan Thit Si Tho – Rakhine Development Project”)
Location: Sittwe Township, Rakhine State
Terms: 6 days between 19 and 24 May 2019
(Daily fee will exclude accommodation and transportation cost)

Overall Objectives (scope)
The Department of agricultural has requested technical assistance from RI to support the professional development of its staff. Specifically, the Department has requested a four-day training in soil management, to include classroom activities and field work. The training will take place in Sittwe and will be organized jointly for Department officials and relevant local CSOs (farmer associations etc). The training is scheduled to be delivered between 20th to 23rd May 2019.
RI is seeking an appropriately qualified and experienced expert to deliver the training for the Department of Agriculture officials and CSO staff.
