Job Description

As a Customer Service and Sales Trainer you will be responsible for the initial and ongoing training for the retail sales team. This includes new hire training, new processes/product rollouts as well as continuing education and professional growth courses. You will create, participate in and deliver training programs. You will work closely with management to align courses and learning path with the Company and business goals. You have a wide degree of creativity and self-motivation, and have a reputation for high energy and a passion for providing tools for success.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize and develop effective training modules, materials, and schedules including presentations exercises while considering costs and budget as well as work change environment
  • Deliver materials and training modules to Customer Support in multiple ways including individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, and workshops
  • Conduct needs analysis and strategize with subject matter experts to identify learning solutions, information retention, and to uncover potential follow-up training needs
  • Collaborate closely with the management to create trainings focused on departments biggest needs for quality and throughput
  • Determine best practices for communicating new or changes to processes and products
  • Responsible for content development on training projects within Customer Support, including agents and leadership
  • Confer with management to determine training objectives
  • Review and analyze training results and training documents, operating procedures, and show impactful results from performing continuous assessment and improvements of the training program based on feedback analysis
  • Conduct and participate in multiple training programs in person

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required or 1-3 years of experience in the training field or a related area
  • Able to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment, such as a start-up or transitional operation
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite and related presentation products is required
  • Ability to respond quickly, yet purposely to urgent matters
  • Friendly, clear, strong speaker with composure, approachability, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn and use web online learning tools to create and administer training
  • Proven time management and organizational skills including strong ability to multitask
  • Professional, customer focused approach to completing assignments and representing organisation
  • Event Planning abilities
  • Creativity and imagination to bring fresh ideas to the design of robust, engaging and effective training courses
  • Ability to conduct and participate in multiple training programs in person
  • Ability to be discreet and to keep private or proprietary information confidential
  • Previous experience working remotely is a plus
