Data Entry Clerk (Nyaung U- Mandalay Program Unit)


Plan International Myanmar is an International Humanitarian, Child Center Development Organization, implementing development programs that promote the realization and fulfillment of children’s rights and the alleviation of child poverty. Mandalay Region is seeking Data Entry Clerk ( 1 ) Post. The position is based in Nyaung U Township, Mandalay Region.


Position: Data Entry Clerk (1) Post

Report to: Child Development Coordinator

Assignment Duration: From start date to till February 2019

Closing date for applications: February 10, 2017. 5:00 PM


Job Purpose: Ensures that the information annually collected and photographs of enrolled children are reviewed and uploaded into the corporate system Child Data making sure the compliance of the quality and child protection standards.

As an international child-centered development organization, the Data Entry Clerk will commit with the Child Protection Policy and Sponsorship standards due to the sensitivity of the information it handles.


Responsibilities: Ensure that photos of enrolled children are properly encoded using the Child Data Encoding Photo Tool (CD pet) and updated onto the corporative system Child Data.

Ensure that SC data collected is reviewed and registered into the corporate system Child Data according to quality standards and business rules. Make sure that SCI/SCU packages are available for National Offices after data is registered and photos uploaded into corporative system Child Data. Ensure that child protection policy and standards are applied for SC data, photography and screening for child protection risk of communications. Informs of any Child Protection concerns detected during the updating process to the Child Protection focal point for further actions or investigation. Informs to CDO about profiles/photos that are not meeting the quality and Child Protection for further action. Contribute and share inputs on Child Development and Child Data operation as end user of lesson learnt and good practice to CDO for further sharing to SSM in developing and revising global policy and system functioning.


Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Citizen of Myanmar •Graduate level education background Good knowledge in computer software, including Microsoft programmes. Basic knowledge in English speaking and writing .Ability to pay attention to detail.1 year working experience-using database, registering information or related activities. Experience handling sponsors and sponsor child information is a plus. • Ability to coordinate with people at different levels •
