This internship program is particularly intended for undergraduates and fresh graduates who want to apply their studies in professional workplace as well as for those who seek work experience or knowledge improvement before landing on a full time job in office administration field and for further study.

Artelia has been active in Myanmar for over a decade and has managed several Projects and Engineering Studies over the country on different sectors: Environmental & Social Impact Assessment, Project Management, Construction management, etc. with both local and international clients.

Job Description

The Employee shall be employed as Intern Executive Assistant, reporting to the Country Manager and the Executive Assistant and based in Myanmar.

The Employee’s main duties shall be:

  • Arranging travel, visas and accommodation
  • Carrying out administrative duties such as filing, typing, proofreading, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
  • Maintaining office supplies by checking inventory and purchasing items
  • Running errands to the banks, government offices, clients’ offices, supply stores, post office, etc.
  • Handling incoming mails, phone calls and other communications
  • Arranging bill payment and processing expense claims
  • Helping in maintaining office systems, including data management and filing
  • Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations
  • Scheduling appointments and organising meetings, interviews, events, etc.
  • Attending meetings, taking minutes and providing assistance during presentations
  • Translating and interpreting as required
  • Maintaining office condition and arranging necessary repairs
  • Overseeing the security, tidiness and cleanliness of the office
  • Carrying out specific projects and research
  • Liaising with suppliers, clients, and other staff
  • Helping in the recruitment process
  • Performing other ad-hoc duties


Position Requirements

  • Studying for a bachelor degree (or) fresh graduate
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and e-mails
  • Proficiency in both Myanmar and English language
  • Proactive and be able to take the initiative to improve office processes and systems
  • Capable of working individually or as part of a team
  • Good organizational skills
