Sectors of focus include: Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD), Maternal, Newborn and Child Health and Nutrition (MNCHN), Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Resilience and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Child Protection, Adolescent Development, Youth Economic Empowerment, Youth-Led Peace Building and Social Cohesion, Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), and Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Prevention among young people.
Position: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (General Food Distribution) Accountable to: Humanitarian Project Coordinator

Plan Myanmar is planning to expand its humanitarian efforts in partnership with the World Food Program. General food distribution will take place in 6 camps in and around Sittwe for 46,378 vulnerable IDPs and Plan requires M&E Officer to coordinate with project team members to get monthly data. Regular update monthly monitoring data, data entry, data analysis and giving feedback to project team. Coordinate with MER coordinator to management of project database and data quality control process. He or she can develop monthly monitoring report for food project activities, develop systematic filling system not only as soft copy but also as hard copy. Assist Project Manager to develop monthly report, quarterly report and ensure data collection requirement and methods for monitoring in line with project proposal. Assist MER coordinator to develop detailed monitoring plan to ensure the quality of project implementation. Specific tasks will include:
The incumbent must be prepared to travel within the designated operational camps and should be able to manage large amounts of quantitative data effectively with supervision and guidance by Food Distribution Project Coordinator. This position is based in Sittwe with up to 50 % travel to the field.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Strong interpersonal skills; courtesy, tact and ability to work effectively with people. Ability to interpret and analyze a wide variety of program issues and statistical information, and to maintain accurate and precise records. Ability to travel at project site. University degree in computer science or other relevant field; Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point and proven experience in data entry into Excel with. Good command of written and spoken in English Language.
