Mercy Corps is implementing energy initiative, named Myanmar Stoves Campaign (MSC) operating in the Dry Zone, Mandalay and Magway Regions. MSC aims to improve rural communities’ access to clean stoves and solar products, enhance entrepreneurship opportunities through a market-development approach and expand livelihood opportunities. MSC is Myanmar’s first carbon project.
[Describe overview of job missioGENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
The Program Assistant is a key national staff position within the broader energy portfolio. While everyone on the program team plays a role in results measurement to drive program learning and performance, the Program Assistant will provide overall support for overall project implementation, data collection and entry, data analysis, program market strategy and organization operational works for Energy Program. Program Assistant reports directly to Senior Program Manager, Energy Program while working collaboratively with Senior Program Officers, Field Office Coordinator and energy field team members.
