We are looking for a Teaching Centre (TC) Administrative Officer to provide an excellent and consistent level of administrative and operational support to the Teaching Centre management Team, Teaching Staff and Customers. In this role, you will report to the Operations manager and will support a variety of administrative tasks.
You will coordinate Teaching Centre resources management at the beginning and end of the term. You will communication with teaching staff to analyse timetable preference; ensuring staff work-life balance needs are incorporated You will plan and manage the beginning and end of term processes including placement test schedules and will assist to track student waiting lists to support achievement of targets. You are expected to assist with the preparation of invoices for contract clients and follow up outstanding debtors in a timely manner.
To be considered, you must have 2 years’ experience in the relevant field as well as proven experience in an administrative role. You must also have good communication skills in English and Burmese.

The Yangon teaching centre has seen unprecedented growth in Adult, Young Learner and Corporate student numbers since 2013. The centre now has over 6,000 student registrations per year. In 2015 we established a presence in Nay Pya Taw delivering English courses to over 400 Ministry officials. Timetable innovation has enabled the Yangon centre to meet the growing demand for English however it will soon be at capacity. Burma’s expansion strategy looks to find additional sites in Yangon, and potentially elsewhere, to deliver English language services to adult and young learner students
