British Council Myanmar currently operates through two main offices in Yangon and Mandalay and two project offices in Yangon.
We employ approximately 180 staff, including project staff, teachers and trainers. We operate as the Cultural Section of the British Embassy and our main Yangon office is co-located with the Embassy.
Location : Yangon
Salary : Pay band J (temporary)
Contract : Fixed term contract (July 2017 to June 2018)

The British Council Myanmar, Teaching Centre is looking to recruit Young Learner Support Assistants who will be based in Yangon for one year fixed term contract.
To support young learners and teachers inside and outside the classroom and contribute towards the smooth running of the Teaching Centre’s Young Learner Programmes.
YLSAs will be contracted on a termly basis for a year. They will generally work between 10 – 35 hours per week and could work either a morning of afternoon shift.
Classes run from 7am to 8.15pm Monday to Saturday and 7am to 7.45pm on Sundays.
